About Avelo Airlines:
In collaboration with Avelo Airlines, we reimagined and enhanced their digital experience to make every step of the user journey—from booking flights to managing travel—seamless and user-friendly. Starting with a complete overhaul of the booking flow, we designed an intuitive, visually cohesive interface that prioritizes ease of use and convenience. We extended this design approach to the airline’s app, integrating all essential user flows for smooth navigation and robust functionality, whether customers are booking, updating travel plans, or managing account preferences. This project aimed to elevate the Avelo Airlines experience by creating a unified, efficient digital ecosystem that meets users' needs at every interaction.

Project Discovery and Solution
Our discovery phase with Avelo Airlines focused on identifying key challenges in the existing digital experience, especially around booking complexity, user navigation, and travel management. Through user research and data analysis, we pinpointed several areas for improvement: simplifying the booking flow, optimizing user pathways in the app, and enhancing usability for frequently accessed features like flight changes, seat selection, and traveler information storage. To address these needs, we developed a streamlined booking experience, incorporating intuitive screens that guide users through each step, reducing the number of actions required to complete a booking. For travel management, we designed a centralized interface that allows users to access all essential features at a glance, including saved payment methods and personalized travel preferences. Each component was meticulously tested and refined to ensure high usability, accessibility, and a smooth flow from one step to the next.
The Outcome:
The redesigned user flows significantly improved task completion rates and reduced booking times, enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering user loyalty.
